From the 5th of November Roodkapje leaves, after almost 8 years of faithful service, from Fashion the Fashionstreet Witte de Withstraat in Rotterdam. Don’t lament because we will not stop.

De Rotterdamse Raad voor Kunst en Cultuur advises the municipality of Rotterdam not to support Roodkapje structurally. We want to continue making good shows and the high charges of our location blocks our progress. For this reason we choose to present our projects on several national and international locations in 2009. Don’t be frightened in the coming year when you get a slap in your face somewhere at an unexpected moment, it will be Roodkapje.

The credits of our successes goes to the many artists whose work needed to be seen at that certain time. Roodkapje supported these time bombs to present their work on the right spot and the right time. Presenting pre topicality is and remains our core function. Roodkapje was and is not possible without the support of funds, cooperation partners and volunteers. This good interaction is part of our successes.
